Pagio — Privacy Policy

Summary
Pagio is a PDF reader and editor that works entirely on your device. We do not collect, store or share your personal data or your documents. Pagio has no accounts, no ads and no analytics of its own.
Data we collect
Pagio itself collects nothing. It does not send your documents, their contents, your signatures, form details or any information about how you use the app to us or to anyone else. The app has no servers.
The only exception is the document scanner provided by Google Play services (ML Kit): when you use it, Google may receive technical diagnostic data — device model and Android version, app version, a per-installation identifier, performance metrics and error codes. It is used for diagnostics, encrypted in transit and not shared with third parties. Your scans and documents are not sent.
Data stored on your device
To work, Pagio keeps the following only on your phone: copies of documents you open in the app, your saved signatures and initials, details you enter for filling in forms, your settings and the list of recent documents. This data is removed when you delete it in the app, clear the app's data or uninstall Pagio.
Permissions
- All files access — to find PDF files on your device, open them and save your edits back into the original files. Pagio only works with documents and never sends them anywhere. You can decline and open files through the system file picker instead.
- Camera — to scan documents and to take a photo of your signature. Photos are processed on the device.
- Internet — used by the app's built-in document engine, which runs locally on your device (127.0.0.1). Your documents and data are not sent over the internet.
Third-party services
- Google Play services provide the document scanner (ML Kit). Scanning happens on the device; diagnostic data is described above. Google's Privacy Policy applies to Google Play services.
- Cloud apps such as Google Drive or Dropbox are used only when you choose to open or save a file through them. In that case the file is handled by that app under its own privacy policy.
Children
Pagio is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.

Какие данные мы собираем
Сам Pagio ничего не собирает. Он не отправляет нам или кому-либо ещё ваши документы, их содержимое, подписи, данные для форм и сведения о том, как вы пользуетесь приложением. У приложения нет серверов.
Единственное исключение — сканер документов из сервисов Google Play (ML Kit): когда вы им пользуетесь, Google может получать технические данные для диагностики — модель устройства и версию Android, версию приложения, идентификатор установки, показатели быстродействия и коды ошибок. Они нужны для диагностики, передаются в зашифрованном виде и третьим лицам не передаются. Сами сканы и документы не отправляются.
Что хранится на устройстве
Для работы Pagio хранит только на вашем телефоне: копии документов, открытых в приложении, сохранённые подписи и инициалы, данные, которые вы вводите для заполнения форм, установки и список недавних документов. Эти данные удаляются, когда вы удаляете их в приложении, очищаете данные приложения или удаляете Pagio.
Разрешения
- Доступ ко всем файлам — чтобы находить PDF на устройстве, открывать их и сохранять правки в исходные файлы. Pagio работает только с документами и никуда их не отправляет. Можно не давать разрешение и открывать файлы через системный выбор файлов.
- Камера — чтобы сканировать документы и фотографировать подпись. Фото обрабатываются на устройстве.
- Интернет — нужен встроенному движку документов, который работает на самом устройстве (127.0.0.1). Документы и данные через интернет не передаются.
Сервисы третьих сторон
- Сервисы Google Play дают сканер документов (ML Kit). Сканирование идёт на устройстве; о данных диагностики — выше. Для сервисов Google Play действует Политика конфиденциальности Google.
- Приложения облаков — Google Диск, Dropbox — используются, только когда вы сами открываете или сохраняете через них файл. Тогда с файлом работает это приложение по своей политике конфиденциальности.
Дети
Pagio не предназначен для детей и ни у кого сознательно не собирает данные.
Изменения
Если политика изменится, мы обновим эту страницу и дату вступления в силу.
